Bunye's nephew survives ambush in Muntinlupa

The nephew of Press Secretary Ignacio Bunye survived an attack Tuesday night by unidentified assailants in Muntinlupa City.

Engineer Roberto Bunye, employed as an administrator of the Muntinlupa City government, was shot while on his way home in his car by 2 or 3 gunmen riding motorcycles .

The attack occurred around 9 p.m. on Bruger Street in Barangay Putatan.

Bunye sustained several gunshot wounds and as rushed to the Muntinlupa Medical Center.  He was later transferred to another hospital where he is recuperating.

Police are investigating the incident.
