CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga – An Army reservist and his wife were killed in an ambush by two motorcycle-riding men along the national highway in Barangay Cabalan, Olongapo City Tuesday, police said.
Reports said the victims, Fernando Timbang, 52, and his wife, Maria Luzette, 50, chairman of the Subic Bay Multipurpose Cooperative and a pawnshop owner, were on their way home to Hermosa, Bataan on board their Honda CRV when they were waylaid. Police said the couple’s belongings were intact. – Ric Sapnu
