Dengue kills 3, downs 15 in Laguna

SAN PEDRO, Laguna Three subdivision residents here, including a child, have died while at least 15 others have been hospitalized since last week due to dengue fever, a municipal doctor said.
Dr. Alfonso Manosca, of the San Pedro Municipal Health Center, confirmed the dengue deaths but could not give the victims names.
Manosca said the dengue cases were reported at Camella Woodhills in Barangay San Antonio.
San Pedro Mayor Fely Vierneza also confirmed the dengue outbreak but did not give an assessment of the situation. She is expected to hold a media briefing today.
