NPAs kill Agusan Sur police chief, deputy

CAMP RAFAEL RODRIGUEZ, Butuan City The acting police chief of San Luis, Agusan del Sur and one of his men were killed in an ambush by communist rebels yesterday afternoon.
Chief Superintendent Antonio Dator Nanas, Caraga police director, identified the fatalities as SPO2 Espiridion Palma, 31, and his acting deputy, Inspector Enrico Bravo Bamba.
Nanas said Palma and his men, together with members of the Armys 402nd IB, were in a convoy of motorcycles en route to the San Luis town hall when they were ambushed. Ben Serrano
