Killers of Abra board member charged

BANGUED, Abra Murder charges were filed yesterday against the two alleged killers of a board member here.
Senior Inspector Charles Domallig, chief of police here, said that murder charges were filed against Misael Gato and Julie Aldaca for the killing of James Bersamin.
Bersamin, a political ally of Gov. Vicente Valera and a relative of Rep. Chito Bersamin, was gunned down Thursday morning in front of the town Plaza, a few meters from the municipal hall and the police station.
The police immediately arrested the two suspects but they were believed to be hired killers.
