KORONADAL CITY Police are set to file charges against a 51-year-old man in connection with last Tuesday nights grenade explosion in Isulan, Sultan Kudarat that left four civilians, including a minor, wounded.
Superintendent Suharto Tocao, Sultan Kudarat police director, said they have sufficient evidence to charge Antonio Solis, who was arrested after the blast in Purok 1, Barangay Laguilayan.
Tocao said all the four victims were still confined at the Tamondong hospital, but were already out of danger.
Tocao said the victims were sitting in front of a sari-sari store when the suspect, who was intoxicated, allegedly hurled the grenade.
He said personal grudge apparently motivated the incident since the suspect and one of the victims earlier had a verbal tussle.
