Misamis airport road up for bidding

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY — At least 10 companies intend to join the bidding for the construction of the 4.3-kilometer, four-lane access road to the soon-to-be-built Laguindingan airport in Misamis Oriental.

The road, which extends from Barangay Poblacion to Barangay Kibaghot in Laguindingan town, has a budget of P188 million. So far, Malacañang has released P530 million for the airport construction, which will start next year, said engineer Delia Capicenio, manager of the airport project. — Mike Baños
