3 killed in road mishap

NASUGBU, Batangas Three people, including two elementary pupils, both 10-year-olds, were killed, while five others aged 6 to 10 were injured when a passenger jeepney slammed into the tricycle they were riding in here yesterday morning, police said.
Police identified the fatalities as minors Alexis de la Cruz and Ronnil Castillo, and tricycle driver Marcial Dellupac, 48.
Injured were Nenian Dadola and Rey Jade Rol, both 9; Aira Sharaine Rol, 6; Julius Albarino III, 8; and Julius Albarino Jr., 10, who was earlier reported killed but who was in critical condition at the Central Azucarrera de Don Pedro Hospital.
Police said the children were on their way to school when they met the tragedy. The jeepney driver gave himself up. Arnell Ozaeta
