Lawyer slain in Bulacan

MALOLOS CITY A lawyer visiting his friend in the City of San Jose del Monte was gunned down Monday night while his son survived the attack, police said.
Superintendent Sheldon Jacaban, intelligence and investigation chief of the Bulacan police, said the victim, Rogelio Montero II, 59, had just alighted from his Nissan Sentra and was walking on the street with his son, Justice Rogelio III, and driver, Virgio Alfaro, to visit a friend in Barangay San Rafael 1 at about 5 p.m. when two men walked toward them and shot the elder Montero four times in the head.
The gunmen also shot Monteros son but missed. Dino Balabo, Ric Sapnu
