Arab beheads mom of Pinay GF

CALAMBA CITY — Police have arrested a Saudi Arabian man for allegedly beheading the mother of his Filipina live-in girlfriend, police said yesterday.
Bander Abdullah Zayad, 35, was apprehended Saturday night as he attempted to flee his girlfriend’s house in Barangay Mayapa here after allegedly cutting off the head of her mother, Pacencia Labato Ariaso, 66, with a butcher’s knife in the bathroom, police said.
Zayad, who has been in the country for several months, was charged for Ariaso’s murder.
The suspect had been very depressed for several days and had reportedly used all his money, police said. — Ed Amoroso, Arnell Ozaeta and AFP
