Batangas trader’s body found in septic tank

- Ed Amoroso -
CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna — The body of a businessman bearing multiple stab wounds was found inside the septic tank of his piggery farm in San Luis, Batangas last Tuesday afternoon.

Reports reaching Chief Superintendent Prospero Noble Jr., Calabarzon police director, said the body of piggery owner Rodolfo Hernandez, 59, was found after his friend, Mario Endaya, 37, sought the assistance of the San Luis police to look for him.

The responding policemen stumbled upon Hernandez’s body after an hour-long search inside the septic tank of his piggery farm beside his house in Barangay Bonliw.

Police launched a manhunt for Hernandez’s helper, Jordan Enriquez, 19, a suspect in the killing.

Police said robbery motivated the piggery owner’s killing since his motorcycle, cellular phone and P138,000 in cash were carted away.
