SAN PASCUAL, Batangas A 25-year-old spurned suitor went berserk here Thursday night, fatally stabbing the teenage girl who had rejected his amorous moves as well as her aunt and grandmother, and then shot himself dead when lawmen chased him.
Police said Frederick Torremocha, who was reeking with liquor, went to the house of 17-year-old Lyka Umali to court her.
But Umali turned him down. Slighted, Torremocha grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed her. She also attacked her aunt, Rebecca, and grandma, Belen, 71.
Lyka and Belen were killed on the spot, while Rebecca died in the hospital the next day.
