Ilocos Nortes most wanted falls

LAOAG CITY Ilocos Nortes most wanted person was collared by elements of the Philippine National Police (PNP) recently in Barangay 35, Tanguid, Laoag City, Ilocos Norte.
Reports sent to Chief Superintendent Alfredo de Vera, PNP Region 1 director, showed that the suspect was identified as Nelson Arimbuyotan Tagatac, 52, a farmer and resident of Baay, Batac, Ilocos Norte.
Tagatac has a P140,000 reward on his head, which was approved by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).
Superintendent Roland Macusi, head of the Regional Public Information Office, said the arrest came after a series of surveillance and intelligence operations conducted by joint elements of the Regional Intelligence and Investigation Division (RIID), Regional Intelligence Office 1 (RIO-1) and Ilocos Norte Police Provincial Office.
