2 dead, 9 hurt in road mishap

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna Two persons, including a one-year-old girl, were killed when the Nissan Sentra they were riding in smashed into a utility van along the Sta. Rosa-Tagaytay Road in Silang, Cavite last Monday afternoon.
Senior Superintendent Benjardi Mantele, Cavite police director, identified the fatalities as Niña Rizen Medina and Marcelino Esguerra, 34, driver of the Nissan Sentra.
Injured in the accident were Nelia Yabut, Margie Esguerra, Joy Medina, Sunshine Esguerra and Norman Felipe, all passengers of the Nissan Sentra; Victor Mejia, the vans driver, and his passengers Elizabeth Riego de Dios, Rebecca Castro, and Cecilia Capagcuan. Arnell Ozaeta
