Teenager’s body found

The decomposing body of a 17-year-old girl, whom her parents reported missing last Wednesday, was found wrapped in a carpet and hidden under the bed of his boyfriend in Taytay, Rizal yesterday morning.

The police said the victim, Catherine Alcantara, 17, had a large wound in the head and welt marks around the neck.

Her boyfriend, Frederick Sensing, 24, was arrested and admitted killing her, saying he got jealous because another man was courting her.

The police found shabu and drug paraphernalia in Sensing’s house on M. Javier street in Barangay San Juan, Taytay town. — Sandy Araneta
