Lipa City trader shot dead

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna A businessman was gunned down during a verbal tussle in front of a barangay hall in Lipa City last Wednesday night, the police said.
The victim, Simon Natanauan, 55, a resident of Barangay Plaridel, Lipa City, died from multiple gunshot wounds at the Lipa Medix Medical Center.
The police said Natanauan was on his way home on board his owner-type jeep when he figured in an argument with two men riding a barangay patrol car.
At the height of the verbal tussle, one of the men alighted from the car and fired at him with a caliber 9-mm pistol, hitting him in the chest and right shoulder. Ed Amoroso
