DPWH exec, daughter shot dead

ISULAN, Sultan Kudarat Two suspected guns-for-hire shot dead a district engineer of the Department of Public Works and Highways and his daughter along the highway here the other day.
Investigators said the fatalities, 53-year-old engineer Norodin Ali Magaram, and his daughter, Norofy, 20, had come from the public market when the motorcycle-riding gunmen blocked the path of their Ford Everest and opened fire with caliber .45 automatics.
After seeing her father being shot repeatedly, Norofy alighted from the vehicle and tried to wrestle with one of the gunmen, forcing the other to shoot her, too.
A bystander was wounded in the shooting. The Magarams both died on the spot from multiple gunshot wounds. John Unson, Ramil Bajo
