Burnt taxi yields body of cabbie

A taxi driver was robbed and shot dead and his body left inside his burning vehicle in Antipolo City early yesterday morning.
The police identified the victim as Jesus Ayhon, 45, a resident of Barangay Parang, Marikina. His burnt taxi, which yielded his body, was spotted along the main road of Forest Hills Subdivision in Barangay San Juan.
Ayhon was identified through his drivers license.
Witnesses said Ayhon had a male passenger when they entered the subdivision, and that minutes later, they heard two consecutive gunshots.
When residents rushed to the area, they found Ayhons taxi on fire and his body inside it. Sandy Araneta
