Wife of Japanese consul gets back stolen gadgets

MABALACAT, Pampanga Barely 18 hours after the wife of Japanese chief consul Kiyoshi Takeuchi lost two expensive digital video cameras last Monday night, local policemen recovered the stolen gadgets and returned them to her.
Mabalacat Mayor Marino Morales said the videocams were turned over by Benjamin Gantang, chairman of Barangay Cacutud where the items were reported stolen last Monday night while the group of Hitomi Marine Takeuchi, the consuls wife, was distributing goods to the residents as a goodwill gesture to communities surrounding the Kamikaze Shrine.
