Singaporean illegal recruiter falls

CAMP GEN. FLORENDO, La Union A joint police team arrested a Singaporean national, who had allegedly collected placement fees from supposed caregiving jobs in Canada, in an entrapment operation in a hotel in San Fernando City the other day.
Superintendent Marlou Cortez Chan, chief of the regional intelligence and investigation division, said the suspect, Glenn De Vries, 55, was arrested in Hotel Mikka following weeks of surveillance.
