The police chief of Bulacan, Bulacan was relieved from his post for his failure to stop jueteng in his jurisdiction.
"Anyone who fails to deliver does not have any place in the police force. We have to stop jueteng at all cost," Chief Superintendent Alejandro Lapinid, Central Luzon police director, said in Tagalog, referring to Superintendent Noli Pacheco, Bulacan towns police chief.
Pachecos relief came after elements of the Anti-Illegal Gambling-Special Operations Task Force arrested four jueteng collectors in separate raids in Barangays Bambang and Ubihan.
