4 snatched kids rescued

-
STA. CRUZ, Laguna — After three long years, a mother’s ordeal has ended when her four children, who were seized from their house in San Juan, Metro Manila, were rescued by the police in a subdivision here yesterday.

The police identified the children as Rex, 14; Bernard, 13; Meg Rhizson, 8; and Patrick, 4, all surnamed Bautista.

Chief Inspector Steve Ludan, Sta. Cruz police chief, said their mother, Susana Bautista, filed a formal complaint with the San Juan police claiming that her estranged husband forcibly took her children when they filed for divorce in the United States. — Arnell Ozaeta
