ORANI, Bataan Two unidentified men gunned down a former student council president of the Bataan Polytechnic State College (BPSC) and secretary of the upland village of Tala here inside the house of his father-in-law last Monday morning.
Senior Superintendent Hernando Zafra, Bataan police director, said the victim, Romualdo Flores, 30, son-in-law of Barangay Tala chairman Ernesto Lojo, died on the spot due to nine gunshot wounds in the head, neck, shoulder and abdomen.
The police said Flores had just bought a cup of porridge from a nearby eatery for his child when the gunmen arrived at about 5:30 a.m. and requested for barangay clearances.
Flores reportedly asked them to wait in the receiving room since he had to prepare his childs breakfast. But one of the two men pulled out a caliber .45 pistol and shot him as he was about to go to the kitchen.
Though wounded, Flores managed to run upstairs but the gunmen cornered him in the masters bedroom. Raffy Viray, Ric Sapnu
