2 Ormoc pawnshops robbed

Ormoc City — The police are still looking for more clues to solve the robberies in two pawnshops both located at the ground floor of a pension house here last Monday.

The robberies in Agencia Exquisite and the Romy-Glor pawnshop, separated only by a barbershop at the ground level of the Sugarland pension house, were discovered only when their employees reported for work Monday morning.

Probers said at least five men separately rented rooms at the pension house last Friday and all checked out the next day.

It was from these rooms where the robbers gained entry to the two pawnshops. — Roberto Dejon
