Air Force major abducted

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga A Philippine Air Force engineer was abducted by three unidentified men, suspected to be members of the Communist Party of the Philippines-New Peoples Army (CPP-NPA) in Floridablanca town on Saturday.
Reports identified the victim as Major Neptune Aliquin, 50, and assigned at the 355th Engineering Wing of Basa Air Base in Floridablanca.
The victim was reportedly resting in his house at Sitio Uno Malinta, Barangay Mawakan when three armed men barged in and forcibly took him, police said.
Witnesses told police probers that the suspects, armed with M-16, M-14, M-203 rifles and a 12-gauge shotgun, loaded the victim onto a get-away vehicle and fled towards the north.
Police said the suspects were members of Ka Turi Larry Lozano of the Lino Lost Command of the CPP-NPA and Ka Edu of the Paterno Ortanez Command.
