CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga A classroom in an 80-year-old, termite-infested school building here collapsed yesterday, slightly injuring 30 students, the principal said.
A "naughty" student blocked the door after class was dismissed, causing his classmates to bunch up, and their combined weight broke the wooden floor, said Imelda Macaspac, principal of the Pampanga High School.
The first-year students suffered minor cuts and bruises when they fell about three meters into meter-deep murky water in the basement. AP, Cecille Suerte Felipe and Ding Cervantes
