Malaria watch on in Rizal b’gays

Government doctors in Rizal are now monitoring a number of barangays in Antipolo City and five towns where malaria cases have been reported.

Dr. Gino Silvestre, medical officer IV of the Department of Health and a malariologist based in Binangonan, Rizal, identified the barangays as Calawis, San Roque, San Isidro, San Jose, Apya, San Ysiro and Colaique, all in Antipolo City; Masaap and Puray, both in E. Rodriguez town (formerly Montalban); and Propito, Malanday, Pintong Bukawe and Maarat, all in San Mateo town.

Also being monitored are certain villages in Tanay, Angono and Taytay towns.Sandy Araneta
