Robbers kill resort owner, houseboy

Two men barged into the house of a resort owner in Baras, Rizal Tuesday night and killed him and a houseboy before fleeing with cash and valuables, police said.
Police said Melencio Caina, 50, owner of Wells Resort, was stabbed 15 times and shot twice in the forehead, while houseboy Nolito Nazilla had a bullet wound in the head.
Another househelp, Editha Pendre, survived the tragedy when the robbers merely locked her up in the comfort room.
The robbers fled on board a motorcycle toward Morong town, police said.
