4 communist rebels killed in Surigao

ZAMBOANGA CITY Army scout rangers killed four communist rebels in a surprise attack and overrun a cave used as war manufacturing hideout on Sunday in the remote village of San Aguatin, Surigao del Sur.
Maj. Gen. Samuel Bagasin, 4th Infantry Division chief, said the scout rangers also recovered a truckload of assorted explosives and devices for bomb making and paraphernalia following the encounter.
