10 policemen fail inspections

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga For their absence during surprise inspections, two police officials in Central Luzon have been relieved from their posts while eight others face summary dismissal proceedings.
Chief Superintendent Rowland Albano, Central Luzon police director, personally conducted the inspections to ensure that all police units in the region are on alert for the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) conference at the Subic Freeport on April 9-14.
Relieved were Senior Inspector Ceasar Lumiwes of the 51st Regional Mobile Group in Lubao, Pampanga, and Senior Inspector Tommy Lumiga of Orani, Bataan.
"They were not in their proper places for unknown reasons," Albano said in a text message to The STAR.
He said he has reprimanded the provincial police director of Bataan for "lapses." Ding Cervantes, Cecille Suerte Felipe
