Murder charges filed vs killers of Agoo politician

-
CAMP DIEGO SILANG, La Union — The trigger man and two of his accomplices who allegedly killed a political leader in Agoo town and a policeman in January were charged in court after a male witness positively identified them as the assassins in both incidents.

The gunman, Rogelio Ordoña, a resident of the nearby town of Naguilian and two unnamed suspects are facing murder charges filed by police authorities at the Municipal Trial Court of Agoo.

Ordoña and the two suspects were allegedly the perpetuators of the killing of Rogelio de Vera, cousin and political adviser of Agoo Mayor Eufranio Eriguel, the current president of the Mayors League in the province.

Police said the witness also identified Ordoña as the hit man in the earlier shooting of SPO1 Reynante Laroco at the same place where De Vera was killed. — Vic Alhambra Jr.
