-
A radio commentator is now in critical condition after a vendor stabbed him with a screw driver in the nape in Antipolo City Friday night.

Senior Superintendent Leocadio Santiago Jr., Rizal provincial director, said Jess Aborondo, 58, a radio commentator of dwBB-AFP, was attacked in front of a bakery near the Antipolo City police sub-station 3 in Barangay Santa Cruz at about 7:15 p.m.

Aborondo was reportedly talking with a group of vendors when his still unidentified attacker walked up to him from behind and stabbed him with the screw driver.

Aborondo was rushed to the Amang Rodriguez Medical Center and was later transferred to the St. Luke’s Medical Center.

His son Jason quoted doctors as saying that his father will be paralyzed even if he recovers from the stabbing. Rainier Allan Ronda
