Ilocos SK head gunned down

BAGUIO CITY — A Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) chairman in Ilocos Norte was shot dead for still an unknown motive last Monday night, a belated police report said.

Senior Superintendent Juan Luna, Ilocos Norte police director, said probers were still gathering leads in the gunslaying of Joefel Gagarin Cajigal, 20, SK chairman of Barangay Santa Cruz in Badoc town.

In the past two months, two Ilocos Norte mayors were also slain. — Artemio Dumlao
