Steel company seeks help

-
TRECE MARTIREZ, Cavite — A steel company here has sought protection from the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) from harassment and lawless elements.

In separate letters to the NBI and the CIDG, Bienvenido Dulce Jr., vice president of Sonic Steel Industries, sought an investigation into two incidents of harassment of their security guards in the company’s main plant in Barangay Hugo Perez this city.

Last Sept. 29, Dulce said unidentified men arrived at the plant and took pictures without the guards’ consent.

On Oct. 3, four men on board a white Nissan Urvan van went to the plant before midnight. One of the men reportedly wanted to search the premises using a warrant which the police later found to be fake.

"It’s good that the chief of police of Trece Martirez arrived," Dulce said.
