2 families missing, 8 houses buried in Sarangani cave-in

ZAMBOANGA CITY At least eight nipa houses were buried and two families were reported missing when the ground caved in due to rampaging floodwaters in a remote village in Sarangani last Thursday, the military said.
Lt. Col. Daniel Lucero, Armed Forces information chief, said the tragedy struck a portion of Sitio Lago in Barangay Baliton, Glan town.
"It was not clear how many people were missing but reports said two families were missing," he said, adding that rescue operations were ongoing.
