Nun, 2 others die in Bataan mishap

Balanga City, Bataan A 64-year-old nun and two others were killed while a truck helper was seriously injured when the formers Mitsubishi L-300 van collided with a cargo truck in Dinalupihan town last Friday, police said.
Superintendent Elmer Macapagal, Bataan police director, identified the fatalities as Sister Mary Williams Quintas, said to be the head of St. Williams High School in San Marcelino, Zambales; school employee Nora Valdez, 35; and Joel Evangelista, 34.
Seriously injured was truck helper Ally Mosqueso, who is now confined at the Jose Payumo Memorial District Hospital in Dinalupihan.
Police said the nuns group was en route to Manila when their van smashed into the Isuzu Elf truck which was to deliver goods to the Subic Freeport. Truck driver Samuel Hapin fled after the incident. Raffy Viray
