Winning candidates proclaimed in Camiguin

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has proclaimed winning local candidates, all belonging to the ruling Lakas-CMD (Christian-Muslim Democrats), in Camiguin.
Meantime, Lakas standard bearer President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo and Koalisyon ng Nagkakaisang Pilipino (KNP) vice presidential candidate Loren Legarda won the national election in this province in Region 10.
Proclaimed were re-elected Governor Pedro Romualdo, Vice Governor Leo Lasacar and re-elected Rep. Jurdin Jesus Romualdo. Romualdo and son, Jurdin Jesus, are both on their last term.
Winning candidates for the Sangguniang Panlalawigan board members in the first district were Nelson Dychauco, James Ederango, Jesus Pacuribot, and Argenito Sabacajan, all for the First District of the Province.
In the second district, the winners were Jose Roxas, Zosimo Borres, Periolo Baag and Emmanuel Bitas .
The Comelec has also proclaimed re-elected Mambajao Mayor Noordin Efigenio Romualdo and Vice Mayor Primitivo Espinas; Mahinog Mayor Benedicto Castanares and Vice Mayor Alex Jajalla, who both ran unopposed; Guinsiliban Mayor Helenio Abecia and Vice Mayor Erlito Fajardo Galla; Catarman Mayor Quintilianito Babarin and Vice Mayor Clemente Elago Torro; Sagay Mayor Eugenio Ong and Vice Mayor Jose Ladao.
