29 Psinan mayors re-elected

LINGAYEN, Pangasinan Twenty nine incumbent mayors in this province, mostly from the Lakas-CMD (Christian Muslim Democrats) party, were re-elected in the May 10 polls.
The incumbent mayors in the first district who got fresh mandates include: Leticia Rosete (Agno), Domingo Doctor Jr. (Burgos), Angelita Jimenez (Dasol) and Gabriel Navarro (Bani). Jimenez, however, ran unopposed.
In the second district, Ricardo Evangelista (Aguilar,), Raul de Guzman (Basista), Ernesto Acain (Labrador) and Nelson Cruz (Mangatarem) were re-elected.
Meanwhile, Julian Resuello (San Carlos City), Leocadio de Vera Jr. (Bayambang), Roy Macalalay (Calasiao), Alfonso Soriano (Malasiqui ) and Jose Ferdinand Calimlim Jr. Malasiqui (Mapandan) were back to their posts in the third district . De Vera and Calimlim had no opponents.
In the fourth district, Benjamin Lim (Dagupan City), Mojamito Libunao Jr. ( San Fabian ) and Rolando Columbres (San Jacinto) respectively. In the fifth district, Amadeo Perez Jr. (Urdaneta City,), Ramon Guico Jr. (Binalonan), Gregorio Tabayoyong (Loac), Artemio Chan (Pozorrubio), Dionisio Lagmay (Sison) and Nonato Abrenica (Villasis) will still wield power for the next three years.
In the sixth district, its still Jose Peralta, Alejandrea Supnet, Salvador Perez, Romulo Antolin, Jose Ginez, Carlos Trece Mapili and Alain Rabang in Balungao, Natividad, San Manuel, San Quintin, Sta. Maria, Tayug and Umingan, respectively.
Meanwhile, the new mayors are former Press Secretary Hernani Braganza (Alaminos City), Nestor Pulido (Anda), Alfonso Celeste (Bolinao), Ruperto Martinez (Infanta), Ariel de Guzman and John Rodney Arcinue (Sual), Simplicio Rosario (Binmaley), Rodrigo Orduna (Bugallon), Ernesto Castañeda, and Abelardo Arambulo (Urbiztondo), Jinky Zaplan (Sta. Barbara), Napoleon Sales (Manaoag) and Herminio Romero (Mangaldan), Manuel Collado (Alcala), Vivien Villar (Sto. Tomas), Amado Espino III (Bautista), Guillermo Piso (Asingan), Ricard Revita (Rosales), and Leoncio Saldivar III (San Nicolas).
Pangasinan has 44 towns and four cities.
