Road safety awareness campaign launched

An advocacy campaign which aims to raise awareness among the public to imbibe safety habits that will ultimately minimize accidents on the road was launched recently by the United Nations Childrens Fund (Unicef) and Petron Corp.
"Our motorists remain one of our primary stakeholders. It is just logical and practical that we make extra effort to make their travels worry-free by making the roads safe and friendly for the public, and in particular, for the children," said Petron president and CEO Khalid Al-Faddagh.
The launch of "Petron for Kids" coincides with Lakbay Alalay, Petrons annual motorist assistance program during the Lenten season. From Holy Wednesday to Easter Sunday (except Good Friday), Lakbay Alalay service points will be placed in strategic areas along the North and South Luzon Tollways and STAR Tollway.
