3 Cebu drug pushers fall

-
CEBU — Three big time drug pushers in the southern towns here were arrested in separate raids by elements of the Carcar and Sibonga police stations on Saturday afternoon.

In Carcar town, Ronillo "Ronnie" Densing, a seaman of Barangay Liboron, was arrested by the Carcar police and the Philippine Drugs Enforcement Agency (PDEA).

During the raid police were able to seize 57 decks of shabu and another 49 packs of shabu which were in a jewelry box inside the suspect’s room.

PO3 Irving Avila said that the raid was conducted after the police learned that Densing had taken over the operations of several well-known drug pushers who were already arrested by the police.

Densing is now detained at the Carcar police station pending the filing of charges against him.

Meanwhile, in Barangay Poblacion in Sibonga town, police also raided the houses of two brothers known to be drug pushers in the area.

Led by Sibonga police chief Francisco Comahig, policemen served a search warrant on brothers Lolito and Rockie Suico, who lived in separate houses in Barangay Poblacion, also on Saturday.

In Lolito’s house, police seized two big plastic packs of shabu and P16,000 in cash. In Rockie’s house police were able to confiscate 11 packs of shabu.

PO2 Ederlino Bacasmo of the Sibonga police said that both suspects were among those who signed a covenant to end their drug trade last year at the office of Mayor Ernesto Ponce.

The Suicos did stop for a while but resumed their nefarious activity when the pressure on them lessened.
