10 dead, 14 hurt as buses collide

ZAMBALES Two Victory Liner buses collided along the national highway in Botolan, Zambales yesterday morning, killing 10 people and injuring 14 others, police said.
Police said one of the two buses was en route to Olongapo City and the other to Sta. Cruz town here when the tragedy happened.
Only two of the 10 fatalities were identified at press time as bus conductor Arman de las Islas and one Raul Montes.
Of the 10, eight died instantly and the two others at the provincial hospital in Iba town. Ding Cervantes
