Caraga road mishaps kill 4, injure 2 others

BUTUAN CITY Four people were killed and two others injured in separate road accidents yesterday along the national highway here and in Barangay Soriano, Cabadbaran, Agusan del Norte.
Reports showed that a Honda XLR motorcycle, with license plates KF-7929 and driven at top speed by a certain Donald Doroy, collided head-on with another Honda motorcycle, this time a TMX model, driven by a certain Renante Baron.
Police said both drivers were pronounced dead on arrival at a local hospital here including Barons companion, identified as Rudy Kipkipan.
By a strange coincidence, police disclosed that all three victims have the same birth dates and are all fish vendors.
At almost the same time as the motorcycle collision here, a passenger jeepney rammed into an electric post along the national highway in Cabadbaran, Agusan del Norte, some 20 kilometers away, instantly killing an 85-year-old woman police identified as Narita Arpoc.
Two other passengers of the jeepney were immediately brought to a local hospital in Cabadbaran.
