Cebu cops net bigtime female drug suspect

The Maritime Police arrested the female partner of a suspected bigtime drug trader in a raid in Barangay Suba-Pasil on Saturday evening.
Juanita Minguito was arrested by a team headed by Senior Inspector Roger Mangawang, but her husband, Lloyd, was not in the house at the time of the raid. Both were subjects of warrants issued by Regional Trial Court Judge Gabriel Ingles.
Lloyd and his wife are listed as number two in the order of battle of the Regional Police Office here and have been under surveillance for a month now, according to Chief Inspector Arnulfo Sebusa.
Mangawangs team confiscated 31 decks, two packs of shabu and P42,600 in cash from Minguito.
The couples alleged illegal drug trade is mainly concentrated in the cities of Lapu-Lapu and Mandaue, but recent reports said it has also reached as far as Consolacion and Liloan.
Minguito is temporarily detained at the Maritime Police stockade awaiting illegal drug charges, which will be filed today. Freeman News Service
