Diagnosed with leukemia, Jose Emmanuel "Joma" Mangulabnan, 13, underwent chemotheraphy sessions last year. But he went into remission and had a relapse twice. His last recourse is to undergo bone marrow transplant, which is scheduled on June 26 at the Asian Hospital and Medical Center in Alabang.
Recent tests showed Joma has a great chance as an older brothers marrow matches his own. However, the transplant will cost at least P1.8 million. Jomas parents are appealing to kind-hearted individuals for assistance to make the transplant possible. His mother Nancy can be reached at 832-8109, 0916-5056204 and 09174715647.
