Ecija policeman found dead in Nueva Vizcaya

ALFONSO CASTAÑEDA, Nueva Vizcaya The decomposing body of a policeman was found in an upland village at the boundary of this province and Nueva Ecija early this week.
Police said PO3 Glicerio de Guzman, 41, assigned to the 308th Nueva Ecija Provincial Mobile Group, was robbed before he was killed and his body dumped in Sitio Tawang, Barangay Lublub here.
De Guzmans brother, Camp Crame-based SPO1 Alejandro de Guzman, earlier had sought the help of the local police in locating the victim who had gone missing since May 14.
Police said De Guzmans assailants took his Honda Civic with license plate WDD 801, his service Armalite rifle, two caliber .45 pistols and P50,000 cash.
