Radio Australias popular "Asia Pacific" program is broadcast live for the first time from the Philippines today via the University of the Philippines radio station in Los Baños, Laguna.
The special, one-hour broadcast will explore political, cultural and developmental relationships between Australia and the Philippines.
The event is the result of a cooperative agreement between Radio Australia and dzLB, the AM radio station managed by the University of the Philippines College of Development Communications.
The special edition of "Asia Pacific" will be broadcast across Asia and the Pacific on Radio Australia. It can also be heard worldwide on the Internet and via an extensive network of some 300 partner-stations, which now deliver Radio Australia programs direct to their local audience.
