CEBU CITY Maltreatment charges are being readied against the Jesuit-run Sandigan sa Pagpalambo sa Kabataan now that the committee on child protection of the provincial board has interceded in behalf of its wards.
Provincial board member Josefina Patricia Asirit, who chairs the committee, is compiling the affidavits of the institutions 49 wards, who alleged that they have been maltreated.
But when told about the boards move, Jesuit priest Emmanuel Non, Sapak founder and director, said, "Whoever will file charges will be in hot water." Freeman News Service
