-
CAMP ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — Police arrested three members of the "Buriki Gang" along Pulilan-Calumpit road Sunday morning while waiting for a ride to haul their loot consisting of mongo and other bean variety.

Police identified the arrested gang members as Dionisio Arizala, 21, of Catingin, Mabaste; Remmy Arizales, 30, of Silang Cavite; and Sonny Uy, 38, of Malabon City.

Police said a patrol car spotted the trio beside sacks piled on road gutters in front of the Nestle Philippines factory there. After an investigation, the sacks were found to contain mongo and other bean variety.

Arizala who was the caretaker of the sacks of beans yielded plastic devices used in piercing either sacks or bags containing the commodities. The recovered loot was reportedly taken from a truck owned by a certain Harvey Sy of Binondo, Manila. — James Mananghaya
