‘Camp North’ tour underway

TARLAC CITY — The Office of the Presidential Assistant for North Luzon will be holding in April and May a major tourism promotion called "Explore 2003: The North Philippines Summer Quest."

According to Malacañang’s extension office, the event, also dubbed "Camp North," is the second part of the government’s "Go North Philippines" program which President Arroyo launched in May last year at the Expo Pilipino in Clark Field, Pampanga.

The Camp North caravan will focus on the "diverse potentials" of Regions 1, 2 and 3 and the Cordillera Administrative Region. — Benjie Villa
