NPA owns up to 2 killings

MALOLOS, Bulacan The New Peoples Army (NPA) has admitted responsibility for the separate killings of the planning and development officer of Angat town, and a quarry operator in San Miguel town.
The NPAs Guerrilla Front Committee said it meted the "maximum penalty of death" on Angat official Nilo Santos, 47, who was gunned down after visiting a friend in Barangay Sta. Cruz in Angat Monday night.
The other day, at least 10 armed men waylaid marble quarry operator Rodante Marcial, 35, in Barangay Sibul, San Miguel town, killing him and wounding three of his workers. With Ric Sapnu
